Why get a facial?

Most people ask me what are the benefits of spending money and time when you can ‘wash your face’ at home for a fraction of the cost. I wanted to address it here.

Going to a high quality skin care therapist with professional, clinical modalities and skin care products is the primary reason. It is similar to going to the gym and working out solo and seeing some or maybe not so much results vs going to a trainer and experiencing real, tangible results!!

I’m your skin trainer! The skin responds to its environment which is environmental (indoor heat, wind, sun) , internally (hormones, medications, food) and topically (skin care).

Skin care is a piece of this and a very powerful one.

Deep cleansing at a level you do not achieve at home that eliminates oil buildup, toxins and product that has not been properly lifted. Unclogging the pores or extraction and lifting dead or damaged cells creates an environment for the skin to function at its optimal. This will make your skin smoother, creating a make-up base so your make-up blends better and looks better.

Pro aging. Regular skin treatments can slow down the aging process and prevent the appearance of wrinkles. Massaging your face and neck increases blood flow, which promotes collagen production and enhances the elasticity of your skin. Leads to reduction of fine lines and wrinkles and preventing their appearance.

Relaxing. While the skin is being massaged the muscles relax which encourages lymphatic fluid to release and detoxify your skin, making it look healthy and youthful.

Skin rejuvenation overall leads to radiance, glow and balanced complexion with consistence, monthly treatments.

Improved skin care routine. A high quality aesthetician will analyze your skin condition and help you choose the best facial products and how to properly use them to get optimal benefits.
